In letzter Zeit lese ich ziemlich viele Bücher aber dieses Buch war mit Abstand das Beste! Von Anfang bis Ende ist die Story sehr spannend geschrieben und es wird nie langweilig. Mehrmals in der Story findet man Seiten, die man einfach zweimal lesen möchten weil sie so spannend sind. Absolut empfehlenswert für jeden der auf Krimis steht!
Ich konnte das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen!

"Two can keep a secret" - es ist nicht mein erstes Mal, das ich die Bücher von Karen M. McManus lese, doch auch dieses Mal hat es die Autorin wieder geschafft, mich mit ihrem Buch in den Bann zu ziehen.
Es ist zwar das erste Mal, dass mich nicht allzu sehr überrascht hat, wer der Mörder ist. Ich hatte ab der Hälfte des Buches bereits eine leichte Vermutung, wer der Täter sein könnte, die sich letztendlich auch als wahr herausgestellt hat. (Dies hängt jedoch vlt. damit zusammen, dass ich bereits einige andere von Karen M. McManus Bücher gelesen habe. )Nur muss ich auch zugeben, dass ich zwischenzeitig meinen Verdacht dann doch auf jemanden anderen gelenkt habe, weil mir bis zurm Zeitpunkt der Auflösung das Motiv des Täters ein großes Rätsel war. Der Auflösung habe ich spannend entgegenfiebert und wer, wie, für was alles verantwortlich ist, hat mich am Ende doch etwas überrascht, war aber durchaus nachvollziehbar.
Mit meinem mulmigen Gefühl über den/die Hauptverantwortliche/n lag ich doch richtig, auch wenn ich das gesamte Mysterium (es geht im Buch um mehrere ungeklärte Fälle) nicht vermutet hätte. Hab' so viele Charaktere lieben gelernt!
Am Ende hätte ich mir nur noch gewünscht zu hören, was mit Sarah Corcoran genau passiert ist, da ihre Leiche nie gefunden wurde, aber dies ist nur eine Kleinigkeit.
