    Joseph Roth führt uns in eine ferne und fremde Welt, in eine ganz andere Kultur. In äusserst unkonventioneller Art berichtet er aus der Ukraine und Russland kurz nach der Revolution. Seine Sprache ist lebendig, seine Schilderungen äusserst spannend, lehrreich und unterhaltsam. Ein unorthodoxer lesenswerter Reisebericht.
