A romance novel full with banter and wit - you will love this one! Chani, a twenty-something writer, is hired to do a piece on one of THE movie stars: Gabe Parker. Of course, she also always had a crush on him - just like everyone else. Things take a different road than expected and Chani not just only does the interview with him, but spends the entire weekend at his house. Ten years later, divorced but way more successful, she is asked to do another piece with Gabe, since their last interview was a hit. She wants to say no, but decides to do it anyway - mostly because she wants to know what the weekend back then really meant to him. The novel jumps back and worth between ten years ago and now, slowly but surely revealing what really happened. It's funny and gripping and leaves you rooting for the two characters, sometimes frustrated with their lack of communication, but always laughing at their entertaining banter. A must-read for every romance-lover! Available in German in November 23.

Interessant, unerwartet, fesselnd

Das Buch hat mir unerwartet gut gefallen. Ich habe gebraucht, um mich einzulesen, also etwas Geduld. Der Schreibstil ist meiner Meinung nach nicht der typische, den man in einem Bücherregal findet, das macht das Buch aber nur interessanter zu lesen. Die Hauptfigur ist Journalistin (das ist kein Spoiler) und zwischen drinnen kann man ihre Texte lesen, die mag ich wirklich gerne und freu mich auch schon immer auf den nächtsten Abschnitt. Aber ich bin bereits dabei es das zweite Mal zu lesen, so gut hat es mit letztendlich gefallen. Ich empfehele es auf jeden Fall weiter.
