"Antigone by Sophocles is a powerful tragedy that explores the conflict between individual conscience and state authority. However, tragedy unfolds: Antigone takes her own life, followed by Creon's son Haemon and his wife Eurydice.
Through its intense moral conflict and emotional depth, Antigone examines themes of justice, loyalty, pride, and the limits of political power. Sophocles presents a timeless meditation on resistance, responsibility, and the tragic cost of inflexible conviction."
