Nick of Time Women Write About Art and Aging

Julie Landsman is a writer, retired teacher, and painter. She has edited several anthologies of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry and is author of Basic Needs: A Year with Street Kids in a City School; A White Teacher Talks about Race; and Growing Up White: A Veteran Teacher Reflects on Racism.

Debra J Stone writes essays, poetry, and fiction. She received a 2023–25 Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship in Literature and the 2023 Loft Mirrors and Windows Fellowship for writing books for BIPOC children and young adults. She is author of The House on Rondo, also published by the University of Minnesota Press.

Morgan Grayce Willow is a writer and artist. Her work has appeared in many anthologies and journals, and she is author of several poetry collections and chapbooks, including Dodge & Scramble, Between, Silk, Oddly Enough, and The Maps Are Words. She serves as a teaching artist with The Loft Literary Center and the COMPAS Artful Aging program.
