Portrait

Yaser Sabzevari is a highly qualified professional in the field of water engineering. He holds a graduate degree in Water Engineering from Lorestan University, where he honed his comprehensive understanding of water management principles and techniques. Driven by a passion for sustainable water resource management, Yaser pursued further academic advancement and obtained a Master's degree in Irrigation and Drainage, also from Lorestan University. Through his master's studies, he delved deeper into the intricacies of water engineering, seeking innovative solutions to optimize water usage in agricultural practices. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge and expertise, Yaser received his PhD in Irrigation and Drainage at Isfahan University of Technology. This doctoral program provides him with an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field, exploring advanced methodologies and technologies for efficient water management for develop science and knowledge, Yaser spent a research period at institute of Hydrology, Slovak Academy of Sciences as a National Scholarship Holder in 2025. In this period, Yaser developed and modified hydrological modelling in snow dominated regions. Throughout his academic journey, Yaser has been dedicated to making meaningful contributions to the water sector. His research interests encompass the integration of emerging technologies, such as blockchain, into water management systems. By combining his expertise in water engineering with the potential of blockchain technology, he aims to address critical challenges faced by the industry and promote sustainable practices. Yaser's academic background, coupled with his commitment to environmental sustainability, positions him as a visionary in the field of water engineering. With his strong theoretical foundation and practical experience, he seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering collaborations that drive positive change in water management practices.

Saeid Eslamian received his PhD in civil and environmental engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia, in 1998. Saeid was a visiting professor at Princeton University and ETH Zurich in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He has contributed to more than 1,000 publications in journals, conferences, and books. Eslamian has been honored as a 2-Percent Top Researcher by Stanford University and Elsevier for total Career. Currently, he is a full professor of Resilient Climate and Water Systems and the Director of the Excellence Center in Risk Management and Natural Hazards, Isfahan University of Technology. His scientific interests
are floods, droughts, water reuse, climate change adaptation, sustainability, and resilience.

Faezeh Eslamian is a PhD holder of bioresource engineering from McGill University. Her research focuses on the development of a novel lime-based product to mitigate phosphorus loss from agricultural fields. Faezeh completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran, where she evaluated natural and low-cost absorbents for the removal of pollutants such as textile dyes and heavy metals. Furthermore, she has conducted research on worldwide water quality standards and wastewater reuse guidelines. Faezeh is an experienced multidisciplinary researcher with research interests in soil and water quality, environmental remediation, water reuse, and drought management. She is now working in GHD, Montreal, Canada.
