Mina Farmanbar is Associate Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway. Recognized among Norway’s top 100 women in AI, she serves as deputy leader of Applied Intelligence and Emerging Technologies (AIxTech) research group at UiS. Farmanbar has been a program committee member of Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium (NORA) and proceedings chair for FAIEMA conferences. Her research interests include data science, natural language processing, and machine learning applications.



Florenc Demrozi is Professor in Medical Technology, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Stavanger, Norway. He focuses on research areas such as Artificial Intelligence of Things, Human Activity Recognition, Active and Assisted Living, and the Internet of Medical Things. He is an Associate Editor of the Sensors Journal and reviews for high-quality journals such as Internet of Things Journal, Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, Personal and Ubiquitous Computing, Pervasive and Mobile Computing, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Communications. He is an active member of the Biomedical Data Analysis Laboratory at the University of Stavanger, Norway, and Co-founder of the Internet of Things for Care group at the University of Verona, Italy.



Jayachander Surbiryala is an Engineer in the Faculty of Science and Technology at University of Stavanger, Norway. His research interests include cloud computing, big data analytics, information security, and machine learning. He has co-authored several publications in these fields.

Klaus Schoeffmann is Associate Professor at the Institute of Information Technology (ITEC) at Klagenfurt University, Austria. His research focuses on video retrieval and interactive multimedia systems, particularly in the medical domain. He has co-authored numerous publications on various topics in multimedia, and has co-organized several international conferences, workshops, and special sessions in the field of multimedia. Furthermore, he is co-founder of the Video Browser Showdown (VBS) – an international live evaluation competition of interactive video search.



Maria P. Tzamtzi is Professor of Automatic Control Systems at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Vice-Head of this Department and a member of the Robotics, Automatic Control and Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory of NKUA.  She has served as Director of NKUA’s MSc Program on “Augmented Textual Studies”, as well as a member of the steering committees for two NKUA MSc Programs on “Advanced Robotics and Control Systems” and “Digital Humanities”. She has experience in intelligent systems for robotics, control and automation, as well as control under uncertainties, control of nonlinear systems, supervisory control and switching control, focusing on industrial applications. Her experience on these fields comprises authorship of research papers, participation in several research projects.



Ajit Kumar Verma is Professor in Technical Safety at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Haugesund. Before this, he was Senior Professor at IIT Bombay in the Department of Electrical Engineering, specializing in reliability engineering. He has also held positions at the University of Stavanger and Luleå University of Technology. He received Lifetime Achievement Awards from IIT Madras (SRESA) and Kurukshetra University in 2024. He focuses on electronic systems and software reliability, power systems reliability, and safety/risk assessment in power plants. With over 250 publications, he has edited a dozen books with Springer and co-authored eight.
