Lorenzo Bosi is Full Professor of Political Sociology at the Faculty of Political Sciences and Sociology, Scuola Normale Superiore, Firenze, Italy. He is the author or coeditor of several books including, The Dynamics of Radicalization. Stefan Malthaner is Professor of Sociology and Criminology, Police University Hamburg, Germany. He is the author or coeditor of several books including, Mobilizing the Faithful: Militant Islamist Groups and their Constituencies, Dynamics of Political Violence: A Process-Oriented Perspective on Radicalization and the Escalation of Political Conflict, and Control of Violence: Historical and International Perspectives on Violence in Modern Societies.
