Her research focuses on social imaginaries, borderscapes, participatory and futures-oriented methodologies, and eco-social transformation. She adopts transdisciplinary approaches at the intersection of sociology, design, and participation..Seçil Uğur Yavuz focuses on designing relational objects, probes, and technologies that foster social-ecological change. With a research- through-design approach, she develops experiential artifacts and embodied interaction to reimagine human and more-than-human relationalities, contributing to more sustainable and desirable future(s).
