Prof. Chin Wei Lai is a Full Professor at the University of Malaya and a globally recognized researcher in nanotechnology, photocatalysis, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability. He has published over 300 research papers, authored more than 100 book chapters, received over 15,000 citations, and is listed among the world's top 2% scientists.

Piyush Verma is a DST-INSPIRE Senior Research Fellow, supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, at UPES, Dehradun, India. His research focuses on agro-food waste valorization, green extraction technologies, prebiotics, sustainable food processing, intelligent packaging, and circular bioeconomy. He has published several SCI papers, book chapters, and patents.
