Eine Unterhaltsame Lektüre die zum Nachdenken anregt. Faszinierend, welche Reisen manche Menschen auf sich nehmen um dann trotzdem nie am Ziel anzukommen...
Wenn man die Biographie des Autors und seiner Freunde im Hinterkopf behält, bleibt am Ende des Buches nicht mehr viel von der Faszination vom großen Roadtrip -die man zu Beginn vielleicht hat- übrig.
Das bitter-süße Ende des Buches hat mich dann doch erstaunlich mitgenommen, das schafft nicht jede Lektüre.

One of the greats—On the Road refuses to be boxed into the typical rise-and-fall plot structure. It flows like jazz, unpredictable and alive. If you’re someone who feels life deeply, who finds meaning in movement, music, and moments over structure—this is a must-read. It’s a cautionary tale but also the one that shows you the side of life that perhaps many people miss nowadays.
