Wahnsinn! Herrlich! Die Dialoge zwischen Held und Heldin sind genial, die Szenen sind zum Lachen, zum Mitfühlen. Wunderbar. Jetzt fehlen nur noch die restlichen Schwestern, damit ich weiter in dieser herrlichen Welt leben kann, die Anne Gracie geschaffen hat.
Prudence muss ihre vier Schwestern vor ihrem rabiaten Großvater beschützen und sucht dafür die Hilfe von ihrem Großonkel. Dort wird sie von einer Lüge in die nächste geworfen, bis sie sich im Haus des Duke einfindet, von dem sie behauptet hat, sie wäre mit ihm verlobt. Konfus verwechselt sie den Cousin mit dem Duke und die beiden verstricken sich in einer herrlichen Geschichte, die den Leser ans Buch fesseln wird.
