Seid langem einer der besten Vampirromane die ich gelesen habe. Kostova ist eine ausgezeichnete Erzählerin, die sich mehr am Bild des klassischen Vampirromans orientiert als an dem aktuellen 'Nette-funkelnde-Vampire'-Trend, und das Ganze perfekt mit den historischen Fakten verschmilzt.
