After five years imprisoned, Vaelin Al Sorna returns to the Unified Realm. Hes tired of war, tired of his past and tired of the admiration everyone offers. But he still has enemies, waiting in the shadows, just wanting him dead. Reva is one of them. It would have been easy for Vaelin to overpower her, but the song told him otherwise, and so their destinies are bound together.
Once more, Anthony Ryan proved his talent for incredibly awesome fantasy. Tower Lord is a very worthy follow up to Blood Song and equally in his driving way of writing and his detailed description of the main characters.
