Rezension

From the reviews:

“This is a valuable contribution to the software engineering literature. … whether you are a young software engineer or a seasoned software academic, this would be a worthwhile investment.” (Birol Aygün, Computing Reviews, January, 2014)

Portrait

Jürgen Münch is a Professor of Software Systems Engineering at the Department of Computer Science, the University of Helsinki, Finland. His main areas of research are software measurement, qualitative and quantitative modeling of software products and processes, and software quality assurance. Münch has received several scientific awards, including the FiDiPro award (endowed with €1,900,000).Klaus Schmid is a Professor of Software Engineering at the University of Hildesheim, Germany. His main research areas are product line engineering, adaptive systems and requirements engineering. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed articles, served in numerous roles in the scientific community such as program chair and general chair of key conferences, and is a research fellow at the Software Engineering Center, NIPA, South Korea.
