Holding A Novel

I loved this book, with it's diverse characters and none being perfect. The secrets of the past to slowly unravel - the story is well written and captured my attention to the very last page.

This is a dark and calm crime-story with remarkable charakters. The ending is very upredictable and it's amazing to read. Not so bloody though but with a lot of big feelings

PJ Collins is the local policeman in Dundeen, a small irish village. The fact that he is not taken seriously by his fellow citizens and also his missing self-confidence make his life difficult. But with discovering a corpse on a desolate property a thrilling story begins - and at the end more than one life in Dundeen has changed for good. A classical crime novel and an exciting reading for rainy afternoons.
