The Poppy War Poppy War

I think this may be one of the best books I've ever read. You don't have many strong female characters that are so greatly written like Rin. I fell in love with her, the side characters and world building. I just had to also read the other two books in the series and they didn't disappoint. Five stars from me

one of the best books I‘ve read so far. The characters, the world-building and the writing were amazing! The characters were all layered and complex. One of the best female characters I‘ve come across and dare I say the best and most complex female character. It‘s not for the faint - hearted because it‘s about war, it‘s graphic and brutal but it depicts how cruel the world can be.

This book is something else. If i could give more then 5*, i would. The writing style, the characters, the story in general makes you feel in way not negative but there is an atmosphere agh i cant explain it. (little spoiler ahead) My jaw dropped many times, my heart shatters when i think of goyln niss and eveything else. Still i recommened it very much!!! R.F kuang you are very underrated but still loved by many ( i wanted to say i love you and your books but I dont want to sound like a creep. ) :)

The Poppy War is to this day the best book I have read so far. I loved everything about it, the characters, the world, the brutality, the strong female lead, the surroundings, descriptions, everything! Can't wait to read the sequels! If you haven't read it yet, please do yourself a favor and grab it!
