    The second book is always the best.

    What in God's name are you doing, Cardan? Poor Jude, she didn't have a break for a minute and was getting betrayed every second of her life. By everyone! I can't get over the book....or even the series in general! *Sigh* I have to pick up the third book from the bookshop that I ordered weeks ago and I'm scared to end this series :(

    Loving a strong female MC

    I didn't see this ending coming, but I love it. It is such a cliffhanger and great way to connect it to the third book. I weren't able to guess it. That doesn't say much cause I can barely guess a plottwist ‍. I love a badass female lead and Jude definitely is one. She knows she has her weaknesses and still fights and holds on. Jude can and WILL fight those who try to get in her way and despite other female MC's she really works and is intriguing and able to kick ass. Holly Black is an amazing author and I like her worldbuilding.

    Geniales Buch

    Alles an diesem Buch ist genial. Die Welt, das Storytelling, die Story und der Romancepart sind alle extrem gut geschrieben und es ist ein Muss für jeden Fantasyleser! Die Liebesgeschichte ist toll, auch wenn die Hauptcharaktere einfach blind vor der Wahrheit sind.

    Aufregent!

    Die Beziehung zwischen Jude und Cardan wird noch interessanter und ich hab das buch in einen tag fertig gelesen! Passiert bei mir normalerweise nicht! Es gibt viele momente auf die ich auf jedenfall nochmal lesen werde

    Amazing sequel in the World of Faerie

    The second book of the FOTA-Series has left my jaw on the floor! Jude, now in charge of Cardan, is trying to fullfill her royal duties, but betrayal follows her everywhere she goes. The ending had twists and truns I never saw coming. Also, Cardan and Jude are getting closer - but can she really trust him?

    The second book in this trilogy...

    The second book in this trilogy was just as great as the first one and the plottwist in the end made my jaw hit the floor as I tried to process what had just happened. Wicked King indeed. I loved every minute of it!

    I liked the second book in the...

    I liked the second book in the series much more than the first. The story was fast-paced and the chemistry between the two actually worked.
