Gurkha and the Lord of Tuesday

This was great. A story about an ancient Djinn king waking up in the far future, finding the world changed...but still wanting to rule it. A story about a utopian city ruled by an AI where humans want for nothing but might lack the feeling of real purpose. A story, ultimately about moral, conscience and human society at its best and at its worst. A story both hilarious and thought provoking, though at times quite dark. Full of sacrificed goats, good karma for selling drugs and loads of pistachios. Definitely intrigued to read more by this author.
