The sequel to a serpent & dove is as perfect as he first one. Our main characters are on the run and even tough it is a bit slower and seen as a filler, doesn´t mean its boring. We learn a lot more about the world and the magic syste, which I personally loved.

Solide, spannend und überzeugend. Der 2.Band ist ein Filler-Band, aber auch einer der gut gemacht ist und einen tieferen Blick in die Welt von Serpent&Dove gewährt. Fies ist der Cliffhanger am Schluss, der die Spannung auf den Abschluss um einiges steigert.

It's the second book in the Serpent & Dove series. The stakes become higher, and the enemies more numerous and deadlier. An action-packed and addictive continuation of the magical world of Belterra. Most often I find that the tension and plot decrease in the second book of a trilogy, but not here! It is just as good, if not slightly better than the first. I love the dynamics between the friends, and I feel Lou's desperation to save everyone she loves! The reprint of the German Edition releases on the 23.09.2025
