This books connects Lovestories, with Horror and historical fiction, written in a new unique kind of style. We follow multiple heroines not all good not all entirely bad. I think its best not to know to much and go in blindly. But warning, some of the scenes were very gory.

"Plain Bad Heroines" hat alles! Von Horror bis hin zur Liebesgeschichte und an den passenden Stellen auch ein Humor. Die Geschichte wechselt zwischen zwei Zeiten - einmal einem Filmset in der Gegenwart und einem Mädcheninternat in 1902. Es zieht sich eine lange Geschichte über diese mehreren Jahrhunderten und es wurde von Kapitel zu Kapitel immer besser und immer spannender. Emily M. Danforth hat mich mit diesem Buch so sehr beeindruckt. Ihr Schreibstil zieht die Leser an und die Geschichte selbst ist einfach faszinierend. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der sapphic dark acedemia mag! ** "Plain Bad Heroines" has it all! From horror to love stories and humorous in the right places. The story alternates between two times - one at a film set in present times and the other at a girls' boarding school in 1902. It is a long story stretching over these several centuries and it got better and more exciting from chapter to chapter. Emily M. Danforth impressed me so much with this book. Her writing style draws readers in and the story itself is simply mesmerizing. I recommend it to everyone who likes sapphic dark acedemia!
