The Narrow Road Between Desires A Kingkiller Chronicle Novella

A short and sweet story about everyone's favourite (faevourite?) fae. Bast lets down his guard, accepting a gift, which makes him indebted to someone he'd rather not have anything to do with. This story follows his actions on this fateful day, showing us a glimpse of his life.

In the (hopefully soon to be complete) Kingkiller Chronicles, Bast is Kvothes sidekick with a mischievous attitude and a secret life. This supplementary volume is all about Bast, his ramblings and deeds when he should actually be studying. It is written in the beautiful style of Mr. Rothfuss and is similar to "The Slow Regard of Silent Things" where Auri's life is described. I wouldn't recommend the book to people who aren't familiar with Mr. Rothfuss' world building and story arcs. However, it was a nice read that makes me hope for more (the third book please!!), but a bit pricey for 30 CHF.
