Empire of the Damned Book Two

„Empire of the Vampire“ was one of my favorite books of 2023 - and this sequel is even better. It gets darker, bloodier and even more gut wrenching than the first book. The focus shifts away from Gabriel and more towards Dior and Celene, introducing new characters and diving more into the ones we already knew from the first book. Far from falling into the trap of the „middle book syndrome“, describing a book that feels more like filler between a beginning and a finale, it brims with beautifully written characters and gripping action - I can´t wait for the final book!
