Absolutely brilliant! This dark comedy-meets-murder mystery had me hooked from the very first page. Lucy is a sharp anti-heroine—blunt, intelligent, and refreshingly straightforward. She's the kind of complex character you can't help but love and cheer for, even though there's a possibility that she could be a cold-blooded murderer. From the very first page, I was hooked. The alternating chapters between Lucy and the podcast and having each one be nice and short kept me turning the pages. The podcast transcripts were surprisingly engaging, with every character gossiping on every other one and stirring up a lot of drama. This genre often seems like a competition to see who can tell the darkest tale. And while that's perfectly fine, it’s not always what I’m in the mood for. Sometimes, I just want a dash of sarcasm, and this novel delivers that in spades. I highly recommend it.
