I listened to this while sick with a fever or smth, but truly you could feel this was a debut and still a delight of a YA book! A few years ago I dnf'd "A Deal with the elf king" cause I couldn't warm up on it, but I actually think bc I wanted it to be this. Perfect for Fans of Holly Black and Victoria Aveyard. For my taste a little fastpaced usually, but it still felt so... like a fairytale for grownups in the best way. (also her grabbing his antlers while between her legs, phew...) Can't wait to read more of this authors work and really hope for something darker by her!
