A novel that delights with wit, magic and a bit of heartbreak. ✨ I've been waiting so much for this sequel and I wasn't disappointed. Once again, this book was full of wit, magic and heart. And even a bit more spice than I would have expected (although maybe only making up 0.5% of the whole book). ️ We delve deeper into the world, exploring new places and discovering more and more magic. It's fascinating to see how the characters grow internally and face their inner and outer demons. The relationship between Evie and the Villain in particular keeps you turning the pages, but the increased perspectives of the other characters also add an incredible amount of heart to the story. It's magical, incredibly funny and I can't wait to see how the story ends. How much of a bad guy do you have to become to do the right thing? ✨ My conclusion: Apprentice to the Villain is a must-read for anyone who loves humorous, magical adventures with a dash of romance and suspense. This book will make you laugh, cheer and smile again and again. Let Evie and the Villain whisk you away into a world full of magic and intrigue!

Auch in “Apprentice to the Villain” hatte ich wieder richtige Lachflashs dank Hannah Nicole Maherers Charakteren und ihrem humorvollen Schreibstil. Evie wächst in diesem Band weiter über sich hinaus und wird befördert. Außerdem befreit sie the Villain und die beiden versuchen neben ihren Gefühlen auch dem König zu entkommen. Und als Sahnehäubchen verschiebt sich die Grenze zwischen Gut und Böse und sie müssen versuchen Evie’s Mutter und die Magie zu retten. Es ging also ganz schön drunter und drüber. Es wurde richtig spannend, aber natürlich kam niemals der Spaß zu kurz. Es wurden immer wieder Stellen eingebaut bei denen ich einfach nur laut loslachen musste. Es war fantastisch. Eine ganz große Leseempfehlung und ich kann den nächsten Band kaum noch erwarten!
