A Curse of Shadows and Ice (Deluxe Limited Edition)

I read this book because I am really intrigued by how Catharina Maura writes. It is beautifully and vividly written and I recommend this "onesie" to every one who loves fairytales! Arabella is forced to marry the shadow king Felix because he saw her in a vision. She is supposed to save his lands from the curse that is destroying and besnowing everything - even Felix himself. So in order not to surrender to blackness and shadows he conquered Arabellas country and prized himself with her as his wife. What Arabella doesn't know is that she is blessed with magic. Throughout the book she not only discovers what she is capable of, she also sees behind the beast within Felix. I loved this story! Especially the sacrifices which were made at the end and that true love conquered all. And for every non-english readers: The German version comes out in March ;)
