Ich wusste nicht so recht ob ich dieses Buch zur heutigen Zeit noch lesen sollte aber wurde nicht enttäuscht! Definitiv eins meiner Lieblinge und ich kann es nur absolut jedem weiter empfehlen der nach Bedeutung sucht oder diese sogar schon gefunden hat.

A psychiatrist’s fight to endure and overcome imprisonment in Auschwitz. With every day that passed he could observe how those men were affected by the dire circumstances in the camps, the ones who succumbed and the ones who triumphed. It’s all about the right mindset for everyone to decide. I had never read a book about concentration camps before, so this was my first step into that genre, and I still think it’s a good way to start it. I have found it a good idea to split the book into parts, so the first part is more about the author’s experiences during his imprisonment, and the second is more scientifical. It’s, in my opinion, an outstanding work, beneficial to every reader. It offers many insights that one can apply to oneself, either socially or professionally.
