Actually it is two stories in one book.
One story is written by Sam himself (it took a while until it began to dawn on me) and the other deals with the persons involved and the actual story line. But I will not reveal too much beforehand.
I really like to read T.C. Boyle because of his sophisticated spelling style. It doesn't correspond to the usual terminology of the common american people.
It's really worth reading and I can only highly recommend that book.
