The Making of the White Wolf

Nadiya Z. (Mitglied der Thalia Book Circle Community) am 10.05.2026

Bewertungsnummer: 3133900

Bewertet: Buch (Gebundene Ausgabe)

A beautiful collector’s edition and a great addition to Orbit’s Witcher series. The dust jacket features a striking painting of young Geralt that immediately stands out on the shelf. The quality of the book itself feels premium — thick, pleasant paper pages, a detailed map printed on the inside, and beautifully painted coats of arms at the beginning of every chapter that add extra atmosphere while reading. Orbit continues the same elegant style as the previous collector’s editions, so the book fits perfectly alongside the rest of the series. A very satisfying edition both for reading and for collectors. The stories themselves are also very enjoyable for longtime Witcher fans because they show the origins of many details connected to Geralt’s later life. The book explains where some famous names come from, including the name of his horse, and shows Geralt slowly evolving into the character known from the later novels. You can really see his lessons, growing morality, and experiences shaping him into the White Wolf readers already know.
