Perfect!

Judy am 30.01.2025

Bewertungsnummer: 2399367

Bewertet: Buch (Gebundene Ausgabe)

I love it! I love Hana and Sam, they are literally the sweetest! This book was fast paced and a beautiful adventure that I enjoyed every second of. I loved the magic and the sea dragons. I loved the fruitbat Fetu and Viti. I loved the sea adventures and the various visits to the Islands. The villain was so well crafted. I'm 20 years old now but If I was younger, like 12 years old, I would have also loved this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves sea adventures with little to no romance, like me, and to tweens or anyone who has tween relatives. It's literally perfect and full of adventures.

Every wish demands a price...

Bewertet: Buch (Gebundene Ausgabe)

Hanalei is living in exile, after her father stole the seadragon egg meant for the princess, and studies the incredible seadragons of the Nominomi Sea. Until one encounter with seadragons offers her the chance to return home and right a wrong. I do enjoy mythological retelling, especially how differently they are interpreted. There are mostly Greek mythology retellings, with Asian, and especially Chinese, increasing. So, when I found out about Dragonfruits, which is inspired by Pacific Island mythology, I just had to read it. The Islands and the Nominomi Sea are enchanting, the characters and their culture are fantastic and the seadragons and other creatures are magical.
