I absolutely adored everything about this book, it was phenomenal! The world was so vibrant and alive, teeming with history and ancient beings; the characters were so real and human, always flawed and always interesting; the prose was beautiful and evocative. I simply cannot fault it! Funerals are for the living. The dead don't mind what the world does to them. The plot takes us on a winding adventure rooted in a world overflowing with magic. It’s unputdownable and so much fun to read. I cannot wait for the next book and I will fight anyone I must to get my hands on it!

I picked this book up because it was said to be a great fantasy tale with "The Witcher" vibes. And what can I say I did not get disappointed. We follow the pov of four different and amazing characters with different goals but the same destination. Set in a beautiful but cruel world I can´t wait to read more about and interesting concepts of magic and godly powers this was a book I couldn´t read fast enough and when I was done I was left craving more.

"Godkiller" just has it all. A quest-like plot, a romance sub-plot and a lot of action. Hannah Kaner wrote a beautiful, fast-paced story and I just did not want to stop reading it. Kaner created a diverse set of characters who are all very, very different but are united by a common destination. The world building is great and the book contains a lot of representation of sexuality and mental and physical illness and deals respectfully with these topics. "Godkiller" is an awesome adventure and a marvelous start for this new trilogy.
