The author skillfully weaves past events into the story, but only in barely noticeable hints, therefore it is not necessary to have read the last volumes. But I recommend it because knowing what happened entirely is essential. During the last books and the Goblet of Fire, I could witness how immensely those three characters have developed. I enjoyed the dialogue and how they grew into a team, showing their weaknesses and strength to master every obstacle. I read this book many years ago, and it hooked me again. Back then and now, Professor McGonagall is still my favorite character in the whole series. Her stern yet witty manner makes you smile, and the dialogue fits her role perfectly.

Alleine schon von den Filmen her wusste ich natürlich, was mich in „Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire“ von J. K. Rowling erwartet. Und trotzdem haben mich einige Szenen unfassbar stark mitgenommen. Es war emotional, herzzerreißend und spannend. Für mich persönlich ist dieser Band der Beste der Reihe – einfach magisch!

Eine zauberhafte Leseerfahrung, die J.K. Rowlings Geschichte nicht nur illustriert, sondern erweitert. Aufwendig und qualitativ hochwertig erstellt, mit strahlenden Farben und Zeichnungen, die wirken, als wollen sie gleich von der Seite springen. Als Geschenk für Potter-Fans (auch für das eigene Regal) eine ideale Auswahl!

Sehr schön illustriertes Buch für Fans von Harry Potter und fremdsprachiger Bücher. Habe auch schon andere Bände aus dieser Reihe gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden damit.

Finally the fourth book. I waited so long. All the same to 1-3 and can't be missed in my collection! I love the illustrations! Must have for all Harry Potter fans!
