Very funny and bursting with Christmas spirit! A really special adventure full of quirky characters. Absolutely adorable illustrations, too! A wonderful read for children and adults with a bit of childish humour! ;) Loved it!

Let's talk about Father Christmas. Have you ever wondered what the big bearded guy in the red clothes was like as a child? Or how he manages to bring presents to children all over the world in just a single night? What about narrow chimneys - how does he get down them? And what are elves, trolls and pixies really like? In Matt Haig's "A Boy Called Christmas" all of these questions get answered and more. This beautifully designed book doesn't just catch your eye but its story also warms your heart. It follows 11-year-old Nikolas, a poor Finish boy, as he leaves home to find his father. On his quest he encounters elves and pixies, reindeers and trolls - some of which are really nice and helpful whereas others aren't so much. I very much enjoyed reading "A Boy Called Christmas" and recommend it to children and adults of all ages - it really is a great read for the Holidays.
