* The Unexpected Mr Hopkins - Cassie's a bit too busy saving the magic world to write a full description, but this book does feature... Eager-for-battle ghosts, misbehaving Tower ravens, on-call dragons, rat-stomping trolls, a tiny bit of necromancy, and a half-troll who just happens to like crochet and classic TV. You know, your basic ingredients to a rip-roaring story.
If you like contemporary fantasy filled with wry humor, paranormal mystery, bad-tempered sourdough starter, and diabolical office chairs, you'll find it hard to pry yourself away from the Cassie Black Trilogy 2.0.
And if you haven't already, be sure to grab The Cassie Black Trilogy 1.0. I mean, t's not necessary to read those books first, but it does make unicorns and kittens smile every time someone takes home a copy of The Undead Mr Tenpenny, The Uncanny Raven Winston, and The Untangled Cassie Black. Okay, maybe not, but this is a sales pitch, it's not meant to be COMPLETELY honest. However, I'm sure those books will make YOU smile.. and laugh-snort.
These books are mostly clean, with very creative cursing and no hanky panky except for a couple of kisses here and there.
