This short story is a result of being dissatisfied with the offerings of ghost stories at Christmas. I've always loved a good creepy story and the ones I've seen recently are very disappointing. I hope you find this more satisfying.

It was a cold frosty morning at Roguesmere bright but with a cold wind coming off the sea. The days were short at this time of year which always seemed to affect people's mood.
